We designed The Carry to look like the kind of office you’d set up if you were starting from scratch. So you can meet clients in a private conference room. Desks on wheels can be re-arranged, so you can work in groups. You can sink into soft chairs when you need to clear your head and unwind.
And we’ve thought ahead to round up all the technology you need to get work done, such as an ultra-fast fiber-optic Internet line, pro-quality video conferencing software, and a printer, scanner and copier.
Monthly members can even have mail delivered to The Carry—a benefit that almost pays for itself, if you’re already footing the bill for a PO box. You’ll have 24/7 access to The Carry, so if you want to work in the middle of the night, go ahead. It’s your office.
If you’d rather work in daylight hours, though, you’ll find yourself as part of the only co-working community in the Adirondacks. You’ll work side-by-side with other entrepreneurs who understand the challenges you face, and can often let you know how you got past them. (You’ll find that sometimes, these co-workers become clients—because they need the services you’re offering.)
And at the end of the day, when you leave the office, we take care of the rest. Like paying the utility bills, emptying the trash and keeping the Wi-Fi working. Because you didn’t get into business to worry about office management. (But we did.)
